Viral Replay 2012

Viral Replay
Since the Pack was not playing in Indy, the only reason we watched the Super Bowl was for the assortment of over-priced commercials. With that said, we present the best of the best from Sunday night with our own witty and sarcasm-laced commentary. Once you’re done, let us know your favorite commercial in the comments below. Enjoy.

MOST UNEXPECTED - “THE TEASE” (OIKOS YOGURT)
John Stamos teasing an attractive woman with the help of Greek yogurt. Cute. Then BAM! Mr. Stamos takes a full house to the face. (See what we did there? Yeah, we’re here all week.)

MOST BIZARRE - "Confident You" (cars.com)
We’re not even going to write anything here.

MOST POWERFUL - “IT’S HALFTIME IN AMERICA” (CHRYSLER)
A fantastic follow up to Chrysler’s Eminem ad from last year. Great storytelling, nice visuals and Clint Eastwood. It just doesn’t get much better than that.

MOST FEMALE FRIENDLY - BODYWEAR (H&M)
David Beckham in an underwear ad? Surprise. Enjoy ladies.

MOST MALE FRIENDLY - “VOCAL KOMBAT” (THE VOICE)
Forget the GoDaddy women and the multiple car commercial models. Sunday’s real eye candy was America’s Golden Girl, Betty White. Our reaction to the spot could aptly be summed up with Cee Lo Green’s final facial expression.

BEST BEER AD - “Rescue Dog” (Bud Light)
The likelihood that more people will name their new dogs “Weego”: high. The likelihood that those same dogs will be able to fetch a brewski on command: rock bottom low.

BEST CAR AD - “2012” (chevrolet)
Ah, finally a commercial that capitalized on the 2012 apocalypse myth. Some pretty amazing visuals and a nice Ford jab lead to a cool commercial that would have made Harold Camping proud.

BEST SONG - “STUNT ANTHEM” (chevrolet)
We couldn’t resist choosing Fun.’s catchy tune, We Are Young featuring Janelle Monáe. It also helped that the song was accompanied by some awesome Chevy stunts that are still blowing our mind as we type. And Avicii? Better luck next time.

BEST TRAILER - "ACT OF VALOR”
With the theme of the night being “America - Fuck yeah!”, it made sense that the best movie trailer on Superbowl Sunday was Act of Propaganda. With all kidding aside, the movie looks like a refreshing action film that will probably lead to hordes of men rushing to the movie theater on opening day. We’ll see you there.

BEST AD OVERALL - “JUST MY SHELL" (M&M
Nothing like a little candy coated frontal nudity to get the party started (Didn’t think we would ever be saying that.) But good thing it wasn't the yellow M&M that stripped down. We did NOT need to see his nuts hanging out everywhere.
